“The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.
                                 Edmund Burke

. . . But not in my Backyard

Saturday, 14 August 2004 - My wife and I were out watering our plants and noticed a neighbor having fun with his friend crawling around inside the concrete pipes at the new construction. I couldn't resist so I started taking pictures.

We thought it was all in good humor until he got back to his grandmothers yard and yelled out that I was "blankety stupid" and flipped us an obscene gesture. Then he said, "you greedy blankety, blank Christian, you can't stop this." I'll kick your a--. Come over here and I'll kick your a--". He obviously didn't realize he was paying me respect by calling me a Christian but was a bit confused with the contradictory first words. He certainly wasn't honoring his grandmother nor showing any manners which is becoming hard to find these days.

Gotta check out this new ditch.

Me too. Notice the "No Trespassing" sign.
