. . . But not in my Backyard
Tuesday,
27 July 2004 - Very little work today
if any. It rained all last night off and on leaving
a muddy mess on the site which is pitched toward
the south. Photo below shows the accumulation
of the muddy water for slow dispersal into the
creek. This
amount was for just one night of intermittent
rain and a lot of the rain was absorbed into
the freshly dug soil.

You
would have
to wonder though with the amount of paved
parking space that will throw the water into
this area, will it be large enough to handle it?
The pond for Wal-Mart is several times larger.
With the West Nile problem on the front page of
most national publications these days, you don't
need standing water to propagate mosquitos.
